So close I can taste it....
It’s not really time for spring, but the weather seems to have other ideas. Word on the street (or weather.com) is that it’s gonna be in the 60s and sunny Friday.

I busted out my purple blazer in celebration. I am OBSESSED with this thing - and have decided I need to match my lip color to it whenever I wear it. <3

This is my favorite type of outfit - one that is classic, flattering (hopefully), with a little bit of a badass twist.

I love this bib necklace. It added a bit of glamour to my otherwise neutral outfit.
skirt and necklace: forever 21, dress (worn as a top): h&m, blazer: limited, booties: charlotte rousse (don’t judge me - they were $15 and are COMFORTABLE).
It also adds a bit of put-togetherness on a day where I obviously couldn’t be bothered to do my hair (helllllooooo generic pony-tail).

Vacations are awesome...
It’s my last night in Florida and I thought I’d share some pictures of my amazing vacation. I’ll try to throw some outfits in as much as possible - but instead of focusing on blogging, I spent the weekend enjoying my time with my new and now MUCH larger (and AMAZING) family and friends. :)

I wore this before I left Pittsburgh this week - but obviously my heart was already in South Florida. I transitioned to bright colors and pumps from neutral sweaters and boots with SUPER thick socks…

Split personality...
Somedays, my preppy Connecticut roots come out in the form of stripes, button downs, and aviators.

Pink pants take two...
I looove all this colored denim that is out right now - but I’m having the hardest time working them into my everyday outfit repertoire. You all saw the mild failure of the pink work pants…but I think that was more of the pants fault than the styling (stretchiness in the wrong places is no bueno). I’ve been doing a lot of blog searching to see how the stylish wear colored pants...
